I have been involved in various phases of the agriculture industry throughout my life. Raised on an 8,000-acre cattle and hay ranch, I gained hands-on experience in ranching and irrigation. I’ve served on the Tehama/Colusa Canal Board, gaining insight into agricultural water issues, and owned a cattle ranch and wedding venue from 2000 to 2012. I have had Orchard management and replanting experience on almonds and Walnuts orchards from 3-70 acre plots and am fimilar with rootstocks and varieties, managed large Ag well development during the 2015 drought, and managed a 400+ acre almond ranch in Colusa County, which sold in 2017. As a General A/B licensed contractor, I’ve built custom homes and completed all phases of rural property development.
